The Division of Parks and Neighborhoods supports an active civic culture reflective of the diversity of the community's voices. The Division oversees all Parks, Community Centers, Senior Centers,  Aquatic Centers, Tennis Centers  and Golf facilities across the City of Memphis.  Our goal is to create thriving communities through people, services, programs, parks and our facilities.  If you have any questions our e-mail address is: .


The Division of Parks and Neighborhoods is extending it's outdoor pool season and community center summer operational hours for additional week.

Community Centers will open Monday, August 1st - Friday August 5th at 8:30 a.m. and close at various times between 6:00 and 8:00 p.m. , depending on the closing time for each center.  Centers will operate on their regular Saturday schedule.

Nine Outdoor Swimming Pools will be open Tuesday, August 2nd thru Saturday, August 6th (all pools are closed Sunday and Monday). Pool hours will be  from 11 a.m. - 12 noon for "Swimming Instructions and Water Safety Techniques" and regular free swim from 12 noon - 6 p.m.   The pools that will be open are:  Douglass, Ed Rice, Gaisman, Lester, Pine Hill, Raleigh, Tom Lee, Westwood, and Willow.  Gooch, L. E. Brown, Charlie Morris, and Riverview will close as previously scheduled on July 30th.   A City of Memphis Access Card will be needed for entry.

When was the last time you went to the park and flew a kite, had a picnic or just went for a walk? How about visit the Zoo or the Memphis Botanic Garden? Wouldn't your children like to go swimming or play games at your local community center?
