Surviving My Rookie Season

Facilitator:
Jeremy Sanders, Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital

This class is designed for “New and Expectant” Dads! Get lessons on how to deal with your newest “Team Member”, and learn what to expect when your bundle of joy arrives!

Regaining Your Playing Eligibility

Facilitator:
Jabari Ransome, Memphis and Shelby County Office of Re-entry

Learn how to build interactive frameworks that will help participants work through the stigma attached to fathers who have felon “stats” in their record books. 

Parents, Players, and Mentors: It Takes a Village to Raise A Great Player!

Facilitators:
Bobby White, Frayser Community Schools
Charlie Caswell, Father and Community Leader

This session will center on how important is for a father to be fully engaged in your child’s education!

Locker Room Chat

Facilitators:
Reverend Herman Jackson, Families Matter
Reginald White, Families Matter
Bernal Smith, Tri-State Defender and 100 Black Men of Memphis

An “Open Forum” session designed to allow men an unfiltered place to Open Up, Talk it Out, and learn how to deal with many of the real issues related to fatherhood. No holds barred, and no women allowed!

Dads on Defense!

This session brings to light the many unseen dangers and pitfalls that ALL fathers should know regarding the Internet and social media safety.

Rulebooks, Playbooks and Understanding the Game: Judicial Panel

Moderator:

Judge Tarik Sugarmon, Municipal Court Judge
Randy Smith, MAXIMUS/Child Support

This will be a “no holds barred” discussion about the laws that affect family life, juvenile and criminal courts, and navigating child support issues.

Daddy’s Little Girls

Megan Mottley,  Glamour Girl Movement

This workshop teaches fathers how to celebrate the uniqueness of daughters, as well as how to motivate them to build a strong foundation for “record breaking” success in the game of life.
