Citizen Law Enforcement Review Board

The Citizen Law Enforcement Review Board's primary goal is to review grievances of citizens who have complaints against any member of the Memphis Police Department.

Mission Statement

The Mission of CLERB is to investigate Citizen's complaints and police misconduct in order to enhance and promote a better working relationship between the City of Memphis Police Department and the Citizens of Memphis.

CLERB meets once a month to hear from citizens who are not satisfied with the results of the Internal Affairs Division investigation.

To give citizens who have complaints against the MPD an opportunity to voice their dissatisfaction with the results of the Internal Affairs Investigation.
