Inspection Tips
  • Drive the vehicle for fifteen minutes or ten miles prior to having inspection to insure proper operating temperature
  • Turn off the air conditioner, radio, heater, and other electric devices during the emissions testing
  • Bring some type of vehicle documentation displaying the vehicle identification number (VIN)
  • Leave vehicle engine running while waiting for inspection. Do not turn engine on and off while waiting in line.
  • The busiest time of the day is between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Avoid this time of day and Mondays
  • The busiest time of the month is the first and last week of the month. The middle of the month is the least busiest. View station Web Cams prior to coming.
  • Commercial Season (March - June) is the busiest time of the year. Come early to avoid long lines.
  • Vehicles may be inspected up to 90 days prior to registration expiration.
  • No Pets Allowed in vehicles during the inspection process.
  • Turn off mobile phones during the inspection process.
