Successful prosecution of sexual offenders empowers both the victim and the community. When someone chooses to report a sex crime, MSARC does everything in it's power to ensure justice for the victim. The process begins the second a victim steps through the MSARC doors-evidence of the crime is collected, documented and analyzed. Forensic results are then shared with investigators and prosecutors. Because the legal system can be confusing, MSARC's Law Enforcement Liaisons, guide, educate and support victims through the criminal justice system. If the victim chooses not to report the crime, counseling and medical assistance is still available at the center.
