Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium
The Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium was opened in 1965 as a single-purpose football stadium. A synthetic-turf facility, seating 62,000, the stadium is the home field for the University of Memphis football team, AutoZone Liberty Bowl, Southern Heritage Classic, and occasional concerts.

Parking and MATA Shuttles
You have three options for game day parking for University of Memphis Football games.
- Fairgrounds Parking - Suggested arrival at least 1 hour early to park on site.
General Parking - Enter through Access point 7 on Central Ave., Access Point 8 on East Parkway, or Access Point 9 on Southern Ave.
Disabled Parking - Enter through Access Point 3 on Hollywood.
$10.00/Vehicle
- School Board / Tobey Park - Located north of the Stadium on Hollywood.
- MATA Express Service - The best way to park! MATA will provide express service to all University of Memphis Tigers games at the Liberty Bowl. Cost - $7.00 per person round trip (children 5 and under are free). See details below:
MATA Pick-up Locations and Departure Times:
Germantown
- Germantown Village Square (7670 Poplar) - Departs 1 hour 30 minutes prior to kick off.
East Memphis
- Eastgate Shopping Center (826 Mount Moriah Rd.) - Departs 1 hour 15 minutes prior to kick off.
(The Germantown bus stops her in route to the stadium)
Southeast Memphis
- Halle Stadium (Mt. Moriah at Mendenhall, Memphis) - Departs 1 hour 15 minutes prior to kick off.

Ticket Sale and Will Call
Ticket Sales for all University of Memphis games is located at Gates 1, 3 and 4. General Will Call is located at Gate 1 and Will Call for the visiting team is at Gate 6 but is subject to change. Ticket Sales takes cash only.
Prohibited Items within the Stadium
For your safety, the following items are not allowed within the stadium:
- Fire Arms / Guns
- Strollers
- Food or Drink
- All Glass, Plastic, Aluminum and Liquid Containers, Cans or Bottles
- Camera / Camcorder or Tripod
- Umbrellas
- Coolers or Ice Chests
- Horns and/or Artificial Noisemakers
Please leave these items in your car. We are not able to check them for you at the door and you will not be allowed to bring them into the stadium.
There is no re-entry into the stadium once you leave. Please remember to bring everything you need with you before you enter the stadium gate.
- ATM - Machines are located inside the stadium at Gate 1 on the concourse, near sections 119-120 and between gates 3 and 4.
- Disabled Seating - Row 25 from Section 123-109 (East Side of the Facility and around into the North End Zone.)
- First Aid Station - Located on the West side of the facility, between sections 104 and 105, outside the Press Box.
- Press Box - Located on the west side of the facility. Enter from outside the stadium between Gates 3 and 4
- Sky Box/Suites - Located on the East side of the facility. Enter through the stadium office between Gates 1 and 6.
