Poplar Avenue – Eastbound Closure
Beginning Saturday, July 29, 2023, at 6 a.m. and lasting until 6 p.m. on that same day, the eastbound lanes on Poplar Avenue between Dunlap Street and Ayers Street/Pauline Street will be blocked to through traffic to allow a contractor to set up a crane to lift an MRI Magnet into Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital.
Motorists who normally use eastbound Poplar Avenue between Dunlap Street and Ayers Street/Pauline Street are advised to use an alternate route during this closure.
The signed detour route will use Dunlap Street, Mosby Avenue, and Ayers Street.
