Heights Line Grand Opening

Please join us on Abril 26 at 2:00 pm to celebrate the grand opening of The Heights Line, a unique linear park that was once a trolley line. The event will take place at 761 National Street. Through the Accelerate Memphis initiative, this neighborhood-led project has transformed a portion of National Street into a pedestrian-friendly public space in North Memphis, enhancing connectivity and promoting a vibrant community atmosphere.

Memphis Mayor Paul Young, in partnership with the African American Mayors Association (AAMA), announced the launch of the Black Mayors’ Coalition on Crime (BMCC), an initiative to harness the collective power of black mayors across the nation to fight crime. The inaugural meeting will take place in Memphis on Marzo 27-28 and will host 21 mayors and their proxies from Washington D.C., IN, TN, MO, MS, LA, AR, GA, AZ, CA, and NC.
