The Memphis City Council wishes to express its condolences to the loved ones of George Floyd and joins the family and citizens across the nation who are saddened by his death and the events that led to his untimely demise. We are moved by the peaceful protests held within our City and will be unveiling a plan to work with our citizens to effectuate meaningful change in our communities.
