MemFeast to be held Thursday
Posted on 11/25/2019
MemFeast Thanksgiving Meal for the Homeless and Hungry will be held Thursday, November 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at City Hall. A traditional thanksgiving meal will be served and guests may enjoy their food inside the Hall of Mayors or in the tent set up in front of City Hall.

Donations are no longer needed for the event because so many individuals and businesses have offered support.

“When Memphians are in need, we all come together,” Deputy Chief Communications Officer Allison Fouche said. “I am in awe this many people wanted to help.”

Giveaways will also be a part of MemFeast, including socks, scarves, and personal care products. Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church Senior Pastor J. Lawrence Turner will offer remarks.

The City would like to extend a huge thank you to every person who helped put this event together.
