Traffic Alert: Beginning Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at 7:00 a.m., the section of Dr. MLK Jr. Avenue between South Main Street and South Second Street will be closed entirely to traffic.
This closure is necessary as a contractor will be setting up a crane to install a sign on the rooftop of the Chisca Hotel located at 272 South Main Street. The road will reopen for through traffic around 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2024.
Please be sure to anticipate traffic delays. A detour will be in place.
