DECLARATION OF STATE OF EMERGENCYBY MAYOR PAUL YOUNG, CITY OF MEMPHIS
In response to the continuing low water pressures and boil water advisory resulting from the winter weather and low temperatures on January 14-21, Memphis Mayor Paul Young extended the city-wide State Emergency declaration on January 22, 2024. (Original signed 1/15/2024)

WHEREAS, the City of Memphis experienced severe winter weather beginning January 14, 2024, resulting in
freezing temperatures and several inches of snow accumulation
Warming Center Will Open Tonight
On Thursday , January 4, 2024 at 10 p.m., a warming center will open at the Hospitality Hub, 590 Washington Ave, Memphis, TN 38105. The warming center will close at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, January 5, 2024.
Warming Center to Open
An emergency warming center will open at 10:00 PM on Monday, December 18, 2023 at the Hospitality Hub, 590 Washington Ave, Memphis, TN 38105. The warming center will close at 8:00 AM on Tuesday, December 19, 2023.
