I-55 Mississippi River Bridge Closure
The Tennessee Department of Transportation contract crews will be closing the I-55 Mississippi River Bridge this weekend to continue construction activities on the I-55 and Crump interchange. Activities include repair work on the I-55 bridge and removal of overhead sign structures. All work is weather-dependent.
Road Closure Notice: South Front Street and Peabody Place
January 24, 2024. Memphis, Tenn. To allow for the construction of an elevated pedestrian bridge connecting the Downtown Mobility Center (60 Beale St.) to the AutoZone building (123 S. Front Street), South Front Street between Union Avenue and Beale Street as well as Peabody Place between South Front Street and South Main Street are currently completely closed to through traffic.
